Our organization name is Man UP, and we have been running this program for 6 years.
Our mission statement is to provide students with guidance, support, and valuable insights from experienced mentors. It aims to help students develop academic, personal, and social skills, foster positive relationships, and enhance their overall well-being.
What inspired us to create this organization? This organization is based on personal experiences with the lack of guidance in life. Knowing the outcome at a young age, we understand that is the time as kids when we need a role model in our lives. We, as role models, are now changing other people's lives, Which is what inspired us to start this organization.
We generally serve young males in our organization. 4th and 5th Graders
The biggest success of our organization lies in the transformative impact it has on individuals lives.
What makes us proud in this organization is witnessing the positive impact it has on people's lives. Seeing mentees grow, learn, and achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding.
What Do We Do
By Facilitating mentoring relationships, providing opportunities for reflection and self-examination,and teaching practical leadership skills,the program helps students strengthen their self-confindiction,find their voice,learn to wield influence and exercise authority,and articulate and purse leadership goals.
